dc.description.abstractThe paper investigate the petroleum industry linkages with emphasis to economy development. The concludes that Government must desist from using oil earnings to establish corporations that can be better run by the private sector. To continue using oil revenue to sustain several inefficient, loss making public enterprises is a great disservice to the economic development of the country.en
